Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: Direct line of sight from SCP-XXXX to the subject is NOT to be compromised. SCP-XXXX itself is not to be touched, approached, or attacked by close or ranged means. The item is to be kept in a standard containment room of 5m X 10m with a 5m high ceiling and a 1 meter wide strip of carpeted flooring located across the far wall from SCP-XXXX. This space is to include a functioning toilet, sink, desk, chair, bed, and lamp, all confined within the strip.

The human subject of SCP-XXXX is to stay in within the strip and is to have constant access to discussion with a person, via a loudspeaker and adapted microphone. The person is to speak in a kind and sympathetic tone to the human subject. Neither SCP-XXXX nor the subject are to be allowed close contact with any living organism. No personnel are to enter the room without O4 level or higher clearance. Water and meals are to be delivered to the human subject via a sliding steel window adjacent to the strip. The human subject is to be given a physiological evaluation once every two weeks.

Description: Agent ████ returned to site ██ after responding to a strange emergency call. Several different exterior and interior cameras caught the following:
Agent ████ approached the entrance shakily, dropping his keycard, then bending over to retrieve it as his head snapped around to face behind himself. SCP-XXXX stood ten steps away from the agent who proceeded to take a step back, bracing himself against the door. The organism stepped forward, now nine steps away. The doors were then opened by personnel who then proceeded to open fire on SCP-XXXX, the organism disappearing. A security breach was announced and the site was put under lock-down.

Internal cameras showed Agent ████ running frantically down the halls, pushing past other personnel before reaching an empty hallway. SCP-XXXX then came into view on the cameras, 10 steps behind the Agent. He turned to face the organism, and nervously walked forward to stand next to SCP-XXXX, which then [DATA EXPUNGED]. SCP-XXXX was caught on a camera in lab █, standing directly behind Dr.██████, who was at the time, managing the breach situation via intercom. The Doctor, after noticing SCP-XXXX and being incredibly startled, pressed the intercom key and instructed all personnel that:
"The breach is contained. The alien organism is in my office. Send guards to room █. Now!".

SCP-XXXX is a humanoid with skin theorized by the Head Researcher ████████ of site ██ as being made up of a condensed form of carbon. SCP-XXXX covers itself in a gray traveling coat over a Gap branded hooded jacket. SCP-XXXX has a pair of dark lidless eyes which when the organism is left in darkness creates a luminescence similar to blacklight. SCP-XXXX is 2.3 meters tall and of unknown weight as any attempts to move SCP-XXXX result in its disappearance.

SCP-XXXX will select a target that is human and proceed to stand ten footsteps behind the target, varying in length based off the target's length in their natural walking step. The target will be classified as SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX is stationary when not being affected by movement from SCP-XXXX-1. When SCP-XXXX-1 takes one step forward, (forward being defined by the direction the organism faces) the organism will take a step towards SCP-XXXX-1. If SCP-XXXX-1 takes a step back towards the organism, it will remain still and will then follow at 9 steps away or less according to how close SCP-XXXX-1 moves to SCP-XXXX.
If SCP-XXXX-1 moves directly next to SCP-XXXX, the creature will [DATA EXPUNGED] and then choose a new target that is within 50 meters of its previous location.

SCP-XXXX will remain standing unless effected by the previously stated actions. The organism does not target animals or inanimate objects. Because of SCP-XXXX's constant gaze on SCP-XXXX-1, over time there is increased paranoia and insomnia from SCP-XXXX-1. The gaze of SCP-XXXX does not affect SCP-XXXX-1 in any anomalous ways. SCP-XXXX-1 can however develop suicidal thoughts and tendencies based on their mental stability.

Current SCP-XXXX-1: Dr. ██████
