Item #: SCP-1714

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-1714 is to be kept in a cubular room measuring 7 meters on all sides. On each wall, including the ceiling and floor of the containment chamber, there is to be a security camera placed directly in the center, so that the organism may be observed. There is to only be one entrance/exit. The chamber does not have to be made of any specific material.

Description: SCP-1714 has a humanoid shape, and is approximately 2 meters in height and .5 meters in width. The organism's skin is an off-white color and appears to be shriveled. The specimen has arms and hands, each equipped with short claws. If approached at a pace above average walking speed, the specimen will become hostile and will attack. When angered, SCP-1714 can move at high speeds and is hard to see.

Addendum: When attacking, the organism uses the claws located on its hands to grasp the back of the victims head-to-neck area. While attached to the specimen, victims have given reports of drowsiness, nausea, migraines, and back pain. This is caused by a █████ released into the victim's bloodstream by the specimen through its claws. The organism appears to grow in size and strength while attached to the victim. When releasing itself from the victim, the organism directs a large amount of the █████ into the victim's blood, causing paralysis and organ failure, ultimately ending in death. It takes 5-10 days for the specimen to detach.
